Project 365 and Project 1,000 (aka My Puzzle)

Day 5: My students experiment with the slime they purchased at the book Fair
I'm pretty sure when I was a kid, we actually bought books at the book fair, but maybe that was just me.  Now, all any of the kids buy is slime and light-up fuzzy chicks (yes, they sell those at the book fair). According to one of my students, he wanted to buy a book, but it cost too much, so he bought the chick instead.

On another note, I started another one of my projects last night.  I bought a 1,000 piece puzzle off Amazon a month back, and it has been sitting on my kitchen table just waiting for me to put it together.  I finally got to start my puzzle last night.
My puzzle of Yosemite (no James in this one)
I chose a puzzle of Yosemite Valley because James and I visited Yosemite on our honeymoon, and it's one of our favorite places
James in Yosemite

I found all four corners and what I thought were all the edges, but after I got started, I clearly have more edge-hunting to do.

I'll post a picture of my progress once there's some actual progress to show!

  1. Happy edge-hunting! Is there a way to preserve the completed puzzle? James looks so happy in Yosemite. Beth
